Answers to the questions we get most, and how to reach us.
On the sign-in screen tap Add Playlist. Choose
Xtream Codes and enter the server address, username and password
your provider gave you (for example http://example.com:8080), or choose

OViu ships with no channels of its own — it plays only what your own account gives you access to.
Yes. Tap Try Demo Channels on the sign-in screen. It loads a small set of freely available public broadcaster channels and public domain films so you can see how the app works. No account, no sign-up.
This is nearly always the provider's server sending data more slowly than the video needs — not the app. To check: open the player's settings (the sliders icon) and turn on Playback Stats. The overlay compares what is arriving with what the stream needs.
Check whether other titles play. If nothing plays, your provider may be blocking your connection, or the account may have reached its device limit. Some providers also restrict access by country, so a different network can give a different result.
Yes. In the player's settings, set Audio Language and Subtitle Language; OViu applies your choice to everything you play. "Original" picks the file's first audio track, which is the most reliable option because many providers label their audio tracks incorrectly.
Tap Download on any film or episode. Downloads continue while the app is in the background, and downloaded titles play with no internet connection — they're reachable from the sign-in screen without signing in.
Resuming requires the provider's server to support partial downloads. Many IPTV servers don't, in which case the download has to start again. When OViu detects this, the paused download is labelled "restarts on resume" so it isn't a surprise.
It unlocks the OViu app. It does not include any TV service, channels, or content — you still need your own provider account.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On iPhone or iPad open Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Mac open the App Store and click your account. Cancelling there stops any future renewal.
Open Settings → Restore Purchases in the app, making sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase. If it still doesn't unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we'll help.
Email adnalrahbi@gmail.com — we usually reply within a couple of days.
To report a problem, please include your device and OS version, the app version (shown at the bottom of the Settings screen), and what you were doing when it happened. You can send this straight from the app: Settings → Report an error fills in those details for you.
