What OViu is

OViu is a media player — nothing more. You connect the streaming service you already subscribe to, using either your provider's Xtream Codes details or an M3U playlist URL, and OViu plays what your own account gives you.

OViu includes no channels, films, or subscriptions of its own. It ships empty. You need an account with a provider you already pay for. The OViu subscription pays for the app itself — not for any content.

Built on VLC, so MKV, HEVC, MPEG-TS and HLS all work without conversion.

Picks up where you left off

Resume playback, Continue Watching, and favourites across Live TV, Movies and Series.

Watch offline

Download films and episodes, with pause and resume. Downloads keep going in the background.

Language, once

Set your preferred audio and subtitle language and OViu applies it to everything you play.

Honest diagnostics

A playback stats overlay shows whether a stall is your connection or the provider's server.

Try before you connect

A built-in demo playlist of free public channels and public domain films, with no account.

Getting started

Open OViu and tap Add Playlist, then enter the server address, username and password your provider gave you — or switch to M3U URL and paste a playlist link. To look around first, tap Try Demo Channels; no account is needed.
